Fall 2012 Appropriations are underway with request filing open from Monday, August 20th to Friday, September 7th!
Full information about process details and guidelines can be found on the Appropriations Webpage.
In order to address group concerns and accelerate the Appropriations
process the committee is changing over to the model employed by
numerous other universities throughout the UNC System.
In the long run, groups will apply one semester in advance of their event:
Apply in Fall for Spring Events.
Apply in Spring for Fall Events that will occur the following year.
However, in the transition year (2012-2013 Academic Year):
Groups must apply for Fall 2012 Events in Fall 2012
Groups must apply for Spring 2013 Events in Fall 2012
Groups must apply for Fall 2013 Events in Spring 2013
Please note the significant change and recognize that failure to file in the
modified time period will result in automatic denial of your request.
Since we will consider Fall 2012 and Spring 2013 events in the Fall Cycle,
groups may submit two separate, up to $2000 each, requests for a Fall and Spring
Event in the Fall Cycle.
While the committee realizes that this will hectic in the short run, it will
provide immense benefits to groups in faster turnaround and improved
planning in the long run.
Groups are responsible for understanding all guidelines, if you have
questions please do not hesitate to ask!
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the committee at email@example.com.
