In light of the recent events of Hurricane Sandy and the devastation that has occurred, the Center for Student Leadership, Ethics, and Public Service (CSLEPS) is hoping to spread awareness and opportunity for our campus and the community to get involved and support those in need. Volunteers will be at the following events collecting monetary donations and raising awareness about relief efforts. *If you are interested in volunteering, please email csleps-sltstaff@ncsu.edu with subject “Sandy Relief Volunteer”
Thursday, November 1:
Pack Howl Concert featuring Wale and Gloriana (Reynolds Coliseum)
Friday, November 2:
Homecoming Parade (Dan Allen Drive)
NCSU NPHC Homecoming Stroll Off (Carmichael Gymnasium)
Saturday, November 3:
Alumni Association Homecoming Tailgate
In addition, there are two other opportunities to help those affected by the Hurricane’s devastation by simply texting ”Red Cross” to 90999 which will automatically donate $10 or by contacting 1800-RED-CROSS to make a donation on the phone.
For our Wolfpack family that has been affected by these recent events, please know that our thoughts and support are with you!
