There were five (5) members (Bryant, Chen, Harrelson, Hurtig, Yopp) absent.

The following official was also present: O'Donnell.

A quorum was not present.

Meeting Overview:

The items on the agenda for this meeting included:

*Discussion of Resolution 27
*Discussion of Courserank.com
*Decision to move meetings to Wednesday instead of previous Tuesdays.

Meeting Minutes:

Start 6:05PM

Senator Attendance - Baughman, Goldsmith, Lahti, O'Donnell

Resolution 27, 2009-2010 Survey Act was looked through and deliberated. A few minor grammatical improvements were noted and changed.

All Senators present approved the Resolution via Consent.

Courserank.com was discussed as a possible tool to be utilized by the Student Body. However, upon further review and consideration it was decided that this website would detract from usage of the current grade distribution system in place at NCSU. Courserank also failed to provide information on as many courses, thus not gaining the approval of the Academics Committee.

A new meeting time for the Academics Committee was decided upon, that time being Wednesdays at 7:30pm. All Senators and students are welcome to attend!

6:30PM Meeting adjourned to sit-in on the meetings of Government Operations and University Affairs in the Senate Chamber.
