Senator Jason Hayes submitted the following report to the Student Senate on Tuesday, November 3rd 2009, on behalf of the Public Affairs Committee, and pursuant to its Tuesday, November 3rd 2009 recommendations:

Attendance:

There were four (4) members (Center, Daughtry, Hayes, Stackhouse) present.

There were three (3) members (Jasmine Brown, Kouba, Maryman) absent.

The following official was also present: Rogers.

A quorum was present.

Meeting Overview:

This meeting was called to draft a Thank You note for Senator Rand.

The Public Affairs Committee Meeting was called to order at 7:30PM on November 3, 2009 by Senator Center.

Thank you all for attending, we appreciate your participation in Student Government and all of your questions, and we invite you and others to come back and visit more often.

Students visited the Public Affairs Committee meeting tonight and had questions about last meeting, what Student Government does, Hillsborough Street Project, and other issues.

NC State Senate Majority Leader Tony Rand attended the last Senate meeting
