85th Session (2005-2006), Vacant Seats

When seats on the Senate are made vacant, the Senate President appoints eligible students to fill them, with confirmation of the Senate. Unless special consideration is granted, appointed student must be enrolled or enrolling in the college they are being appointed to represent.

Currently, applicants are sought for the following seats:

• Graduate
• CALS Senior
• Life-long Education

Appointments are generally made on a rolling basis. All applications to be considered for appointment effective at any given Senate meeting must be received several days in advance of the meeting.

New students, including new graduate students, transfer students, and reshmen, should consider standing in the Fall Election, which will be used to fill 13 seats in the senate.
