RESOLUTION 100
A RESOLUTION TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT TO PROVIDE FOR THE ADJOURNMENT SINE DIE
OF THE 2000-2001 SESSION OF THE STUDENT SENATE

WHEREAS, the 2000-2001 Session of the North Carolina State University Student Senate enacted legislation specifically detailing student spending priorities for tuition revenues; and,
WHEREAS, the 2000-2001 Session enacted legislation in support of the Higher Education Bond; and,
WHEREAS, the 2000-2001 Session, in support of academic integrity, enacted legislation placing a referendum on the ballot to include a proactive statement regarding academic integrity in the Student Body Constitution; and,
WHEREAS, the 2000-2001 Session enacted legislation concerning increases in mandatory student fees for Student Legal Services, Student Center Operations Fee, Student Health Services Fee, and Transit Operations; and,
WHEREAS, the 2000-2001 Session enacted legislation supporting the consideration of days of non-testing for religious observances for students of the Jewish and Muslim faiths; and,
WHEREAS, the 2000-2001 Session enacted legislation supporting credit towards general education requirements for students enrolled in classes required for members of the North Carolina State University Marching Band; and,
WHEREAS, the 2000-2001 Session honored Bob Bryan, Kermit Hall, and Claude McKinney for their dedication and service to the students of North Carolina State University; and,
WHEREAS, the 2000-2001 Session enacted legislation urging Chancellor Fox to support the efforts of students to implement a racial climate survey; and,
WHEREAS, the 2000-2001 Session enacted legislation urging the University to review its policies for the granting of college credit for International Baccalaureate coursework; and,
WHEREAS, Rule 4 of the Rules of the Senate requires that any adjournment sine die be accomplished by Resolution; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED,
that pursuant to Senate Rule 4, the 2000-2001 Session of the North Carolina State University Student Senate, effective at 5:00pm on Tuesday, the seventeenth of April, two thousand and one, shall stand adjourned sine die.
