A RESOLUTION TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT REQUESTING UNIVERSITY DINING TO INVESTIGATE THE IMPROPER ACCEPTANCE OF UNIVERSITY CASH POINTS AND BOARD BUCKS

WHEREAS, One of North Carolina State University's primary objectives is to assist its on-campus residents with college life; and,
WHEREAS, University Dining and its programs are integral in the achievement of this goal; and,
WHEREAS, The University Board Bucks system provides a simple and effective way
for students to keep cash without fear of robbery or loss; and,
WHEREAS, many students depend solely on their Board Bucks for food and general
groceries; and,
WHEREAS, University Dining clearly requires that the University C-Stores and restaurants which accept Board Bucks to positively identify the users of a
Student ID as the true owner of the card; and,
WHEREAS, this policy is not being enforced in many situations, facilitating the
fraudulent use of a stolen Student ID; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the North Carolina State University Student Senate request that University Dining investigate University C-Stores and restaurants acceptance of Board Bucks without verifying identification.
