AN ACT TO ALLOW THE STUDENT SENATE TO SPECIFY A METHOD OF ELECTIONS DATA RELEASE FOR NON-STUDENT GOVERNMENT ELECTIONS AND TO DESIGNATE SUCH A METHOD FOR THE 2001 STUDENT CENTER ELECTIONS DATA

BE IT ENACTED by the NC State University Student Senate that:

Section 1. Student Body Statutes §7-9 shall be amended by adding:

§7-9.4 Non-Student Government Results.

Unless otherwise specified by a majority vote of the Senate, results from

races placed on the ballot per §7-2.5(a-1) shall be handled in the same

manner as Student Government Races with the distribution of an additional

copy of the certified elections results to the affected organization.

Section 2. The results from the Student Center Elections conducted per

Government Bill 69 shall be sealed and delivered to the Student Center Board

of Directors. The Elections Board shall at no time disclose the results of

said election, and certified results shall be distributed per §7-9.3 only at

the express request of the Student Center.

Section 3. This act shall take effect upon enrollment.
