SENATE RESOLUTION 15

A RESOLUTION TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT TO PROVIDE FOR THE CONSIDERATION OF THE BILL GB 14 TO ISSUE A STUDENT REFERENDUM ON THE ADOPTION OF A

REVISED STUDENT BODY CONSTITUTION

 

Short Title: Constitutional Revision Rule Act. (Public)

BE IT RESOLVED, by the North Carolina State University Student Senate that:

Section 1. The Student Senate shall not consider Government Bill 16, the Constitutional Revision Act, within five class days of the date of the discharging report from the committee of first referral.

Section 2. Amendments to Government Bill 16, the Constitutional Revision Act, shall only be in order on the floor of the Student Senate provided that the amendment has been submitted to all senators via electronic mail 48 hours in advance of the meeting, with the exception of amendments by unanimous consent.

Section 3. In all cases where this act and the Standing Rules of the Senate may conflict, this act shall govern.

Section 4. This act shall be effective immediately upon its adoption
