SENATE RESOLUTION 25

 

A RESOLUTION TO BE ENTITLED

An act to order a special election for the purpose OF presenting referenda of college councils

 

Short Title: Fall Special Election Referenda Order                                                            (Senate)

Referred to: Government Operations.

 


WHEREAS,    two college councils, the University Graduate Student Association and the College of Management Student Advisory Board, have requested assistance presenting constitutional referenda, as required by the Student Body Constitution; and,

 

WHEREAS,    Article 1 of the Chapter 7 Student Body Statutes empowers the Student Senate to order special student body elections; now, therefore be it

 

RESOLVED,  by the North Carolina State University Student Senate that:

 

Section 1.       The Fall Special Student Body Election as previously ordered by SR 24 shall concern the following questions:

(i)             Ratification by the Graduate School Student Body of such referenda duly provided by the University Graduate Student Association; and

(ii)           Ratification by the College of Management Student Body of such referendums duly provided by the College of Management Student Advisory Board.
