GOVERNMENT BILL 52

 

A RESOLUTION TO BE ENTITLED

An act TO Grant the Standing Committee on Campus Community the Option to not Conduct Block Seating for Special Case Football Games

 

Short Title: Optional Block Seating Act                                                                            (Public)

WHEREAS,    the Committee on Campus Community established the current block seating policy set forth in Student Body Statutes ¤9-2.3; and,

 

WHEREAS,    extenuating circumstances may arise in which allocating all tickets to general distribution and none to block seating will better serve the interests of students; now, therefore be it

 

ENACTED,    by the North Carolina State University Student Senate that:

 

Section 1.       Student Body Statutes ¤9-2.3 shall be amended by adding the following:

 

b. Distribution Exceptions:

Certain games will not follow this policy due the extenuating circumstances. These games will be identified by the Campus Community Committee with the concurrence of the Athletics Department. The guidelines for these games will be posted at least two weeks prior to the game via tickets.ncsu.edu.

 

Section 2.       This act shall take effect upon enrollment.
