A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

An act TO ENCOURAGE NCSU PARENTS AND FAMILIES SERVICES TO SCHEDULE PARENTS AND FAMILIES WEEKEND TO COINCIDE WITH A LOW-DEmand non-conference football game

WHEREAS,   Parent and Families Weekend has been a positive experience for North Carolina State University students and their families; and,

 

WHEREAS,   football Saturday has been the central focus of Parents and Families Weekend; and,

 

WHEREAS,   this year, Parents and Families Weekend is scheduled for the weekend of the football game against Virginia; and,

 

WHEREAS,   the University of Virginia is an Atlantic Coast Conference opponent, and this is a game in which tickets should be in high demand; and,

 

WHEREAS,   it is likely that tickets will be difficult to acquire for both students and parents; and,

 

WHEREAS,   tickets should be in less demand for a minor non-conference opponent; now, therefore be it

 

RESOLVED,  that the North Carolina State University Student Senate strongly encourages North Carolina State University Parents and Families Services to schedule Parents and Families Weekend for a non-conference game of projected low demand in the future.
