A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

An act to Remove the Absence penalty for non attendance of the senate retreat

 

Short Title: Retreat Absences Act         (Senate)

BE IT ENACTED by the North Carolina State University Student Senate that:

 

Section 1.            Senate Rule 2(e) shall be amended by striking:

 

Any Senator failing to attend the Student Government Retreat shall be assessed one (1) Senate absence; no further absences shall be recorded from meetings occurring during the Retreat for Senators not in attendance.

 

Section 2.            This act shall be effective upon its adoption.
