A RULE FOR THE CLOSED RULE CONSIDERATION OF THE SENATE REAPPORTIONMENT ACT

 

 


Short Title: GB 116 Closed Rule

Provides that GB 116, the Senate Reapportionment Act, shall be considered under a closed rule. That is, no amendments will be permitted except by general consent.


 

 


BE IT RESOLVED,  by the North Carolina State University Student Senate that:

 

Section 1.        Upon adoption, for Government Bill 116, the Senate Reapportionment Act, no amendments or motions in the nature of amendments shall be in order to the said Government Bill, on the floor of the Senate or in Committee of the Whole, except by general consent.

 

Section 2.        In all cases where this act and the Standing Rules of the Senate may conflict, this act shall govern.
