A RESOLUTION TO BE ENTITLED ACT TO MOVE THE BAND FROM THE NORTH END ZONE OF THE FOOTBALL STADIUM AND RELOCATED ADJACENT TO THE STUDENT SECTION AT THE SOUTH END ZONE

 

Short Title: Band Seating Reallocation Act    (Public)

WHEREAS,   currently the band is located at the North End Zone of the Carter Finley Football Stadium; and,

 

WHEREAS,   North Carolina State University has one of the top bands in the Atlantic Coast Conference; and,

 

WHEREAS,   North Carolina State University marching band is known as the “Power Sound of the South”; and,

 

WHEREAS,   the visiting band is located adjacent to the Student Section and often drowns out the NCSU Band and the Student Section now, therefore be it

 

RESOLVED,  that the North Carolina State University Student Senate formally recommends that the “Power Sound of the South” be moved adjacent to the Student Section to create a better overall Wolfpack Atmosphere, and, be it further

 

RESOLVED,  that the North Carolina State University Student Senate formally encourages this to take place by the start of the 2006 Football Season.
