An act Clarify the campout policy for student Tickets

WHEREAS, Campout has been a long standing tradition of
the University, and recent changes to the statutes have removed the official
policy; therefore be it
ENACTED, by
the North Carolina State University Student Senate that:
Section
1. The Student Body Statutes §9-1. shall be amended by
inserting the following:
Part V. Campout
§9-1.17. Campout Policy.
- Ticket
Allocation
Based on determination of demand and overall student ticket availability the Committee on Campus Community shall allocate no more than one thousand five hundred (1,500) of available tickets for any game to Campout distribution, with the remainder distribution under the Ticket Return guidelines for distribution. - General
Characteristics
Campout ticket distribution shall be in nature of a long-term, overnight, organized wait to receive tickets. - Specific
Procedures
The Committee on Campus Community shall adopt specific procedures and binding guidelines for the administration and execution of Campout distribution. Such guidelines must be adopted by the committee at least two (2) calendar weeks prior to a Campout distribution. - Volunteer
and Compensation Policies. Volunteers for aiding with campout
execution will be appointed by the Campus Community Committee. Volunteers
shall receive a maximum of two (2) student tickets for the current game as
compensation for their service.
- Penalty Policy. Should a Student register for campout, verify, receive a ticket,
print the ticket but his/her group not attend campout, that Student
shall become ineligible for the remainder of the season for that sport
only. In the case that there are
three (3) or fewer games remaining for that sport, the Student shall be
come ineligible for the first three (3) games of the season of the next
sport.
Section
2. This act shall be effective upon its
enrollment.
