A RESOLUTION TO BE ENTITLED

An act To create a central college council website

WHEREAS, many students at NC State are not familiar with who represents them; and,

 

WHEREAS, NC State’s Student Government is prominently displayed under the student life section on the NCSU website; and,

 

WHEREAS, college councils play an important executive role in representing the diverse colleges of NC State; and,

 

WHEREAS, it is unclear to many students as to how to get in contact with their college council or even if their council is active; and,

 

WHEREAS, having central web access to ones college council will allow one to know who represents them; and,

 

WHEREAS, it also allows a student to be aware of the status and quality of their council so as

            they can improve their council; now, therefore be it

 

RESOLVED, that the North Carolina State University Student Senate recommends that the    University examine the feasibility to create a central, easily accessible website that provides access to the various college council websites and information .
