APPROPRIATIONS BILL 132

A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

An act To Providing Funding for a Search Process To Identify a Graduate Advisor to Student Government

Short Title: Graduate Advisor Search Act (Public)

WHEREAS, planning is underway in the Budget Committee and Personnel Committee to hire a Graduate Assistant to serve as an on-staff advisor to Student Government; and,

WHEREAS, the process of interviewing candidates will have particular costs associated with bringing candidates to town; now, therefore be it

ENACTED, by the North Carolina State University Student Senate that:

Section 1. The 2005-2006 Student Government Budget shall be amended by striking $16,000 from line-item 1502, Administrative Assistant- Salaries and Benefits, and inserting $15,000.

Section 2. The 2005-2006 Student Government Budget shall be amended by inserting a line-item 1504 entitled “SG Graduate Advisor Search Process” allocated $1,000.

Section 3. This act shall be effective upon its enrollment.
