A RESOLUTION TO BE ENTITLED

An act To Show Appreciation for North Carolina State University’s Greek Life Contributions to the Raleigh Community

Short Title: Greek Life Appreciation (Senate)

WHEREAS, Greek Life at North Carolina State University has helped to promote a positive image for the University through community service and fundraising; and,

WHEREAS, Greek Life at North Carolina State University raised $35,024.89 for charities in the Raleigh Area during the 2004-2005 school year; and,

WHEREAS, Greek Life also put forth over 11,000 hours of community service to help enhance the community; and,

WHEREAS, Greek Life raised 13,000 pounds of food to give to charities and the less fortunate; now, therefore be it

RESOLVED, that the North Carolina State University Student Senate would like to show its appreciation to Greek Life at North Carolina State University for the dedication towards community service and fundraising in the Raleigh community.
