RESOLUTION 61

 

A RESOLUTION TO BE ENTITLED

An act to Declare the OPerational Separation of the Student Body Government and the Judicial Board

WHEREAS,   an interest exists amongst the leaders of the Judicial Board and of the Student Government for the Judicial Board to exist as a unit separate from the Student Body Government and its legislative and executive branches; now, therefore be it

 

RESOLVED,  that the North Carolina State University Student Senate declares that an understanding exists that the Judicial Boards, as administered through the Office of Student Conduct, do not and need not serve as the Judicial Branch of the Student Body Government; and, be it further

 

RESOLVED,  that the North Carolina State University Student Senate believes the interests of the Student Body are best served by the Student Body Government consisting of only legislative and executive branches; and, be it further

 

RESOLVED,  that the North Carolina State University Student Senate establishes December 31st 2005 as the target date for operational separation of the Judicial Boards and the Student Body Government
