AN ACT ENDORSING THE APPOINTMENT OF KENNETH WEBB AS ACTING STUDENT GOVERNMENT WEBMASTER.

Summary of Purpose:

Senator Webb shall be exempt from the dual office prohibition and will be monetarily rewarded and provided both titles for his hard work as Senate Webmaster and Student Government Webmaster.

A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT ENDORSING THE APPOINTMENT OF kenneth webb as acting Student government Webmaster

Short Title: Acting SG Webmaster (Webb) Endorsement Act (Public)

WHEREAS, Section1-1.3. Dual Office Prohibition states that “No Student Government Official may serve in more than one Student Government Office at any one time, unless such additional offices are considered dual officeholding exempt as specified by other statutes,” and

WHEREAS, Senator Webb has been performing all duties of Senate Webmaster and Student Government Webmaster, and,

WHEREAS, on Sunday, November 12^th, 2006, Will Quick, Student Body President, appointed Mr. Kenneth Webb of the College of Engineering as the Student Government Webmaster, and

WHEREAS, Senator Webb should be monetarily rewarded from line item 201 and provided both titles for his hard work and dedication, now therefore be it;

RESOLVED, that the North Carolina State University Student Senate hereby endorses the appointment of Mr. Kenneth Webb as Acting Student Government Webmaster for the 2006-2007 legislative session.
