WHEREAS, the current statutes on Student Government financial
matters have no guaranteed accountability; and,
WHEREAS, a call for a more accountably
process and transparent process in Student Government Allocations; now,
therefore be it
ENACTED, by the North Carolina State
University Student Senate that:
Section
1. Article 1 of the Chapter 5 Student Body Statutes shall be
amended and creation of a new §5-1.18.A the following inserted:
§5-1.18.A
External Funding
By June 30, all external
groups receiving funds directly out of a budget line-item in the past fiscal
year shall submit to the Treasurer a detailed breakdown of the use of those
funds. All such organizations shall be barred from receiving any funds from
Student Government until delinquent reports are submitted.
Section 5. This
act shall be effective upon enrollment.
