A RESOLUTION TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT TO CONGRATULATE KRISTIN DAVIES ON HER NCAA CHAMPIONSHIP WIN AND OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCES WHILE REPRESENTING NC STATE

WHEREAS,    the North Carolina State University diver Kristin Davies, coached by Brooks Teal and Jenny Johansen, completed her Diving career as the first WomenÕs NCAA Swimming and Diving Champion in University history; and,

WHEREAS,    Kristin Davies had been named twice to the All-ACC Platform dive team; and,

WHEREAS,    she had been named to the ACC Honor Roll; and,

WHEREAS,    the Student-Athlete has broken two University Platform Diving records; and,

WHEREAS,    Kristin Davies has accomplished All-American Honors; and,

WHEREAS,    she has qualified twice for NCAA Platform Diving Championship and,

WHEREAS,    she has been crowned the NCAA Division-I Platform National Champion; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED,  that the North Carolina Student Senate hereby congratulates Kristin Davies, Coach Brooks Teal and Jenny Johansen and the rest of the NCSU Swimming and Diving team for Davies NCAA Championship finish; and be it further

RESOLVED,  the North Carolina State Student Senate, along with its entire constituency, wishes Kristin Davies and the rest of the Wolfpack Swimmers and Divers a strong, healthy, and productive program in future Seasons.
