A RESOLUTION TO BE ENTILED AN ACT TO HONOR OUR STUDENT VETERANS

 

 


Short Title: Student Veterans Support Act

WHEREAS, North Carolina State University has a longstanding tradition of having a large number of student veterans;

 

WHEREAS, Tuesday November 11th is nationally recognized as Veterans Day;

 

WHEREAS, Student Veterans of America is an organization whose mission is to enhance the educational experience of veterans in higher education by empowering and supporting student veterans groups on college and university campuses throughout the country,

 

WHEREAS, there is currently no student veterans organization on campus;

 

BE IT RESOLVED, in recognition and appreciation of the patriotism and courage exhibited by the student veterans of North Carolina State University, the Student Senate fully encourages and supports the establishment of a campus chapter of Student Veterans of America.
