Key Issues:
Fiscal Responsibility
-It is important for the Student Government's budget to remain balanced, and to allow as much money as possible to go towards appropriations (money from your student government fee that is given to student groups who apply). Managing this appropriations process is very important and is a priority of mine.
Tuition and Fees
-Keeping tuition and fees as low as possible through the current budget crisis. It is important that we focus on keeping the quality of our education high, but not at a cost that would keep students from attending the university.
Parking and Transportation
-The Department of Transportation should instate carpool parking passes.
-The Department of Transportation should not sell more parking permits than they have spaces for. Doing this allows them to write more tickets because students have no where to park.
Making the Student Voice Heard
-All too often students do not know that students DO have a voice in what the university does. Please let me know what I can do for you. PLEASE COMPLAIN!!
Continuing and Improving the Excellence of the NCSU Student Senate
-The Senate has the student body's best interests at heart. Continuing to keep this motive and objective is very important.
University Housing
-A more detailed questionnaire for students staying in University Housing should be created to better match students with their room mates.
