Finance Bill 46 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT TO SEEK HOMECOMING SPONSORSHIP Short Title: Homecoming Sponsorship Sponsors: SBT Bryson Signatories: Referred to: Version: Initial Version First Reading: October 20, 2010 Second Reading: WHEREAS, Homecoming is a huge tradition and a huge part of the campus life and traditions here at NC State and, WHEREAS, unfortunate circumstances have forced the homecoming committee to put more money into venue and staging that usually is not planned for and, WHEREAS, the Homecoming Committee has had the foresight to budget and plan properly and met with the Finance Committee early in the budgeting process and, WHEREAS the finance committee met with the homecoming committeeÕs detailed budget and has agree to help sponsor an additional $4,000 from Finance Committee in addition to their $6,000 earmark and, WHEREAS approximately 4,000 students attend a homecoming affiliated event homecoming week, making this one of the largest student activities and traditions on campus, and 1,500 are projected to attend the concert and, RESOLVED, that the Pack Howl concert featuring Augustana will be sponsored by Student Government and be it further, RESOLVED, the funding will be taken from line 1103, which will have a balance of $15,953.60 after enrollment of this bill.
