TO SEEK ADDITIONAL LEADERSHAPE FUNDING

WHEREAS, Leadershape is a nationally recognized leadership development curriculum that provides students on college campuses in-depth leadership training, and
WHEREAS, Leadershape is a highly successful leadership development program held each year here at NC State, and
WHEREAS, is planned in coordination with CSLEPS with funding and support from organizations from across campus, and
WHEREAS, the Leadershape program is very popular for emerging and existing leaders here at NC State who benefit from its curriculum to help build a vision and plan to better not only the NC State University, but also the community at large, and
WHEREAS, the current budget for Leadershape $43,5086.37, which would extend an all expense paid retreat for 6 days for 60 NC State Students and 7 faculty, and
WHEREAS, the current planning committee is asking Student Government to help sponsor this yearŐs Leadershape for an additional $2,000, now therefore be it
RESOLVED, that Leadershape will received an additional $2,000 for the 2011 program and be it further,
RESOLVED, that this bill go into effect upon enrollment.
