AN ACT TO PROVIDE SPONSORSHIP FUNDING FOR THE 2009 N.C. STATE HOMECOMING WEEK

 

 


Short Title: 2009 Homecoming Sponsorship Act

Whereas, Homecoming is an integral part of N.C. State UniversityÕs school spirit; and

 

Whereas, the Homecoming Committee has made a significant amount of budget cuts and has attempted to make the week as memorable and enjoyable to students as possible while working with low financial resources; and

 

Whereas, Homecoming Committee met with the Finance Committee and presented a detailed plan and budget, which outlined the events and expected costs of the events throughout the week; let it hereby be

 

Resolved, that student Government will give a $4,000.00 sponsorship, in addition to previous approved funding, giving Homecoming 2009 a total of $10,000.00; and let it further be

 

Resolved, that the PackHowl concert will be sponsored by Student Government, and let it further be

 

Resolved, that $2,500.00 be expended from unencumbered funds from the general trust also known as surplus funds; and let it further be

 

Resolved, that $1,500.00 be expended from the Finance Committee Disbursements to make a total of $4,000.00.

 

This act will be effective upon enrollment.
