TO BE ENTILED AN ACT TO ALLOT ANNUAL SEATING TO ALL ROTC STUDENTS FOR THE
MILITARY APPRECIATION DAY FOOTBALL GAME

WHEREAS,
Military Appreciation Day, is a time to honor Veterans, ROTC students, senior
officers, wounded warriors and other military personnel; and,
WHEREAS, North Carolina State University will be recognizing these
groups during the annual NC State Military Appreciation Football game for their
service in the military; now, therefore,
be it,
RESOLVED, that the North Carolina State University Student Senate recommends the Athletics Department to reserve no more than 200 student seats for ROTC students at the annual NC State Military Appreciation Football game; and be it further,
RESOLVED, that the chairperson of the Campus Community committee will meet at least three
full weeks prior to the Military Appreciation football game with the Associate Athletics Director for External Operations and a representative from ROTC to discuss the allotted seating for the game; and be it further,
RESOLVED, that in the event that a Military Appreciation day football game is not held during
a football season this act will not apply for that season only; and be it further,
RESOLVED, that the seating allotted to ROTC members as well as Student Veterans should be set in a group and blocked off prior to the annual Military Appreciation football game; and be it further
RESOLVED, that the North Carolina State University Student Senate encourages the distribution of any extra tickets to student veterans in honor and support of their service.
