A RESOLUTION TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT TO allot seating to All ROTC students for the Military Appreciation day football game

 

Short Title: ROTC Seating for Military Appreciation Day Act

WHEREAS,    September 12th, 2009, Military Appreciation Day, will be a time to honor Veterans, ROTC students, senior officers, wounded warriors and other military personnel; and,

 

WHEREAS,    North Carolina State University will be recognizing these groups during the NC State vs. Murray State football game for their service in the military; now, therefore, be it,

 

RESOLVED,  that the North Carolina State University Student Senate recommends the Athletics Department to reserve 170 student seats for ROTC students at the September 12th, 2009 NC State vs. Murray State Football game; and be it further,

 

RESOLVED,   that the North Carolina State University Student Senate encourages the distribution of any extra tickets to student veterans in honor and support of their service.
