FINANCE BILL 28

President Pro Tempore Kelli Rogers submitted the following report regarding Finance Bill 28, "AN ACT TO ALLOCATE FUNDS TO REGISTERED STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS FOR THE FALL 2008 SEMESTER", to the Student Senate on Monday, October 13th 2008, on behalf of the Committee on Appropriations, and pursuant to its Sunday, October 12th 2008 recommendations, by general consent:

As provided by Senate Rule, the committee requests that the Senate President place Finance Bill 28, on the calendar for second reading.

Attendance:

There were six (6) members (Baughman, Demanovich, Friel, Gayden, Parnell, Rogers) present.

There were three (3) members (McCormick, Sessoms, Smith) absent. There was also one (1) non-voting member (Lassiter) absent.

A quorum was present.

Purpose of Legislation:

Appropriates $46,000 dollars to student groups
