RESOLUTION 26

Chairman Kenneth Webb submitted the following report regarding Resolution 26, "An Act to Encourage the State of North Carolina to Increase Support for the Mentally Ill and Indigent", to the Student Senate on Monday, October 13th 2008, on behalf of the University Affairs Committee, and pursuant to its Monday, October 13th 2008 recommendations, by general consent:

As provided by Senate Rule, the committee requests that the Senate President place Resolution 26, on the calendar for second reading.

Attendance:

There were six (6) members (Clark, Crabtree, Demanovich, Prior, Robinson, Webb) present.

There was one (1) member (Herting) absent.

A quorum was present.

Recommendations:

Report positively. Think bill should pass.
