SENATE RESOLUTION 10

Chairman Justin K. Brackett submitted the following report regarding Senate Resolution 10, "An Act to Confirm Zhara Al-Nadaf as Publicity Commission Chair", to the Student Senate on Wednesday, October 22nd 2008, on behalf of the Government Operations Committee, and pursuant to its Wednesday, October 22nd 2008 recommendations, by general consent:

As provided by Senate Rule, the committee requests that the Senate President place Senate Resolution 10, on the calendar for second reading.

Attendance:

There were four (4) members (Brackett, Chiang, Lindh, Sherwood) present.

There were three (3) members (Griffin, D. Johnson, Wall) absent.

The following official was also present: Lipka.

A quorum was present.

Recommendations:

The Committee recommends that the resolution be placed on the consent agenda for the October 29, 2008 meeting of the Student Senate.
