GOVERNMENT BILL 33

Chairman Justin K. Brackett submitted the following report regarding Government Bill 33, "A BILL TO BE ENTILED AN ACT MODIFY THE DEPARTMENT OF THE PUBLIC DEFENDER AND THE POSITION OF THE STUDENT BODY PUBLIC DEFENDER", to the Student Senate on Sunday, November 30th 2008, on behalf of the Government Operations Committee, and pursuant to its Wednesday, November 19th 2008 recommendations, by general consent:

As provided by Senate Rule, the committee requests that the Senate President place Government Bill 33, on the calendar for second reading.

Attendance:

There were three (3) members (Brackett, Chiang, Lindh) present.

There were two (2) members (Griffin, Sherwood) absent. There was also one (1) suspended member (D. Johnson) absent.

A quorum was present.
