Chairman Elmo Thomas Lamm, Jr submitted the following report to the Student Senate on Tuesday, February 24th 2009, on behalf of the Finance Committee, and pursuant to its Tuesday, February 24th 2009 recommendations:

Attendance:

There were two (2) members (Hager, Lamm) present.

There were three (3) members (Chase, Friel, Jason D. Smith) absent.

The following officials were also present: Bower, Cosolito.

A quorum was not present.

Report Overview:

This meeting was to establish a budget to be discussed and eventually voted for by the committee. A budget was discussed and is ready to be placed on the agenda for a vote on Thursday, February 26, 2009 at 7:30 P.M.

Background Information:

The Finance Committee was scheduled for two meetings, one to discuss and examine recommended budgets by SG officials and the student body. Two budgets were presented, one chosen, and of the chosen discussed and edited.

Debate:

There was no debate. There were questions about personnel pay.

Recommendations:

The recommendations of the committee is to accept the budget discussed pending a final vote by the committee on Thursday, February 26, 2009 at 7:30 P.M.
