GOVERNMENT BILL 57

Chairman Sarah Lindh submitted the following report regarding Government Bill 57, "AN ACT TO ESTABLISH A POSITION OF THE STUDENT GOVERNMENT GRAPHIC DESIGNER", to the Student Senate on Wednesday, March 18th 2009, on behalf of the Government Operations Committee, and pursuant to its Wednesday, March 18th 2009 recommendations, with 5 members voting in the affirmative and 0 in the negative:

As provided by Senate Rule, the committee requests that the Senate President place Government Bill 57, on the calendar for second reading.

Attendance:

There were five (5) members (Chiang, D. Johnson, Layton, Lindh, Jacquelyn Smith) present.

There were two (2) members (Ashok, Brackett) absent.

A quorum was present.

Purpose of Legislation:

Installs the Graphic Designer position into Student Government.
