SENATE RESOLUTION 12

Senator Brianne Bower submitted the following report regarding Senate Resolution 12, "An Act to Confirm Natasha Herting as Sustainability Commission Chairman", to the Student Senate on Tuesday, September 8th 2009, on behalf of the Committee On Appointments, and pursuant to its Tuesday, September 1st 2009 recommendations, with 3 members voting in the affirmative and 0 in the negative:

As provided by Senate Rule, the committee requests that the Senate President place Senate Resolution 12, on the calendar for second reading.

Attendance:

There were two (2) members (Bower, Crabtree) present.

There were no members absent.

The following official was also present: Kouba.

A quorum was present.

Background Information:

Herting's previous involvement with sustainability in the Senate proved her to be highly qualified for the position.
