RESOLUTION 29

Senator Sarah Center submitted the following report regarding Resolution 29, "A RESOLUTION TO BE ENTILED AN ACT TO RECOGNIZE AND COMMEND SENATOR RAND ", to the Student Senate on Tuesday, October 20th 2009, on behalf of the Public Affairs Committee, and pursuant to its Tuesday, October 20th 2009 recommendations, by general consent:

As provided by Senate Rule, the committee requests that the Senate President place Resolution 29, on the calendar for second reading.

Attendance:

There were five (5) members (Jasmine Brown, Center, Hayes, Kouba, Stackhouse) present.

There were three (3) members (Daughtry, Hurtig, Maryman) absent.

The following official was also present: J. Tucker.

A quorum was present.

Purpose of Legislation:

To commend Senator Rand for visiting the NC State Student Senate
