RESOLUTION 04

Senator Joshua Teder submitted the following report regarding Resolution 04, "A RESOLUTION TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT TO PRESERVE THE HISTORIC NC STATE vs. UNC MEN’S BASKETBALL RIVALRY ", to the Student Senate on Sunday, April 22nd 2012, on behalf of the University Affairs Committee, and pursuant to its Sunday, April 22nd 2012 recommendations, by general consent:

As provided by Senate Rule, the committee requests that the Senate President place Resolution 04, on the calendar for second reading.

Attendance:

There were three (3) members (Cockrell, Richardson, Teder) present.

There were no members absent.

The following officials were also present: Barker, Murray, Yadon.

A quorum was present.

Purpose of Legislation:

To preserve the rivalry between UNC and NCSU specifically so that both teams play at home each season.
