SENATE RESOLUTION 102

Chairman Mark Matthews submitted the following report regarding Senate Resolution 102, "A RESOLUTION TO BE ENTITLED A RULE TO PROVIDE FOR THE CONSIDERATION OF GOVERNMENT BILL 76", on Monday, December 1st 2003, on behalf of the Committee on Rules, and pursuant to its Monday, December 1st 2003 recommendations, by general consent:

Attendance:

There were four (4) Members (Matthews, Moody, Spencer, Stephenson) present.

There were two (2) Members (Efe, Price) absent.

A quorum was present.

The following officials were also present: Fabricius, Tatum

Purpose of Legislation:

To provide for a more efficient consideration of amendments to the Election Reform Act.

Debate:

All members present agreed the rule would be a good idea.

Recommendations:

The committee recommends the adoption of this rule by consent.
