SENATE BILL 82
Chairman Mark Matthews submitted the following report regarding Senate Bill 82, "AN ACT TO REQUIRE SENATE ALTERNATES TO BE RECORDED PRIOR TO THE ONSET OF A SENATE MEETING", on Monday, February 9th 2004, on behalf of the Committee on Rules, and pursuant to its Monday, February 9th 2004 recommendations:
As provided by Senate Rule 14(b), the committee requests that the Senate President place Senate Bill 82 on the calendar for second reading.
Attendance:
There were five (5) Members (Cleary, Hinton, Matthews, Spencer, Stephenson) present.
There was one (1) Member (Moody) absent.
A quorum was present.
The following officials were also present: Fabricius, Horne, Hoy, Leung, Quick
Debate:
Everyone in attendance supported this bill, and it was immediately passed by consent with no amendments.
