NORTH CAROLINA STATE UNIVERSITY STUDENT SENATE
SESSION 2003-2004

COMMITTEE REPORT
Report No. PCR-30

Committee Minutes, Monday, March 29th 2004

Chairman Mark Matthews submitted the following report on Monday, March 29th 2004, on behalf of the Committee on Rules, and pursuant to its Monday, March 29th 2004 recommendations:

Attendance:

There were five (5) Members (Hinton, Matthews, Moody, Spencer, Stephenson) present.

There was one (1) Member (Cleary) absent.

A quorum was present.

The following officials were also present: Fabricius, Hutcherson

Meeting Minutes:

Senator Matthews proposes simple fast-track for GB 163.
Matthews: It is a simple bill that does not need further research or clarification, and no amendments would be germane. This bill changes the treasurer discretionary restrictions that only restrict student organizations from recieving funding to apply to both student and non-student organization. The sooner the better to pass this, particularly as we have a short agenda this week, and the agenda for the final meeting of the session is expected to be long.

GB 163 Simple Fast-Track Rule Passes by Voice Vote

R 151 Placed on Expedited Agenda by consent.

Motion to adjourn passes by consent.
