Committee Minutes, Thursday, March 16th 2006

Secretary Stephanie Griggs submitted the following report to the Student Senate on Monday, March 20th 2006, on behalf of the Government Operations Committee, and pursuant to its Thursday, March 16th 2006 recommendations:

Attendance:

There were seven (7) members (Griggs, Heath, Hutcherson, Norman, K. Phillips, Walton, Yasin) present.

There was one (1) member (Gula) absent.

The following officials were also present: Fabricius, Hankins.

A quorum was present.

Meeting Overview:

The committee received a memorandum from Dr. Stafford.

Meeting Minutes:

The committee received a memoradum from Dr. Stafford demanding the committee cease in order to allow review by university legal. There was discussion on this memoradum and the committee would like to gather more information.

Committee members and those in attendance were again allowed to give an opinion regarding the events.

Piavis was not in attendance at this meeting.
