Part II. RULES AND REGULATIONS.
Section 1. General Procedure:
(a) General Admission. Individual students will no longer need to pick up tickets prior to home football games. Students will be admitted to games by presenting a valid NC State University student ID at the gate. Guest tickets may be purchased at the gate or at any time prior to the game from the Athletic Ticket Office.
(b) Block Seating. The minimum number of students for a block seating group will be fifty (50) and the maximum number will be one hundred fifty (150). Guest tickets may be included in the block seating requests and cannot exceed the number of student tickets. Each block seating group must have the following for each game:
1. One completed block seating cover sheet,
attending the game,
3. Payment for guest tickets, and
4. Large manila envelope to hold your order for tickets.
The block seating requests must be submitted from 8:00 a.m. through 12:00 p.m., only during the dates listed above. A lottery is held at 10:00 a.m. on each of the block seating dates to determine the best block seats. Groups desiring to be in the lottery for block seating must submit their form between 8:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. After the 9:30 a.m. block seating deadline for the lottery, all additional block seating requests submitted will be added to the end of the lottery list. Members of the Student Government Campus Life Committee and/or their appointed representatives will be present from 8:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. to oversee the lottery and block seating forms. All remaining block seating requests will be handled by the Athletic Ticket Office in order of submission and availability of seats. All requests made after 12:00 p.m. will be denied their request unless arrangements have previously been made with the Athletic Ticket Office. Student groups will be notified in the case of a problem with their block seats.
Section 2. Transportation:
There will be individual parking passes for students attending home football games that will be distributed by Student Government at its discretion. Also, mass transportation will be available for those students needing a safe ride to and from Carter-Finley Stadium for all home games. Buses will leave NC State campus at Bragaw Residence Hall on Dan Allen Drive two (2) hours before kickoff. The buses will run every ten (10) minutes up until two (2) hours after the end of the game. A student must show an All Campus Card to ride the bus. For any non-NC State students wanting to ride the bus, they must accompany a NC State student showing an All Campus Card. Any non-NC State student riding the bus is the responsibility of the accompanying NC State student. Busing is a joint project of the Department of Athletics, Student Government, Department of Transportation, and University Housing.
Section 3. Conduct:
No devices or conditions considered a safety hazard are allowed at camp-out or on the bus. Any student or group violating any laws or University Policies can be removed from the line or have bus privileges revoked by the Department of Public Safety and may be referred to the Student Judicial System for further review. Violating these policies or actions includes, but is not limited to: harassing line monitors, breaking and cutting in line, or harassing the bus driver, and these shall be grounds for immediate removal from the ticket line or revocation of bus privileges. No food, drink, nor any illegal objects or substances will be allowed on the buses to and from football games.
Fraudulent use of an All Campus Card will result in the loss of ticket privileges for the next event and the immediate confiscation of the All Campus Card. The violation will be referred to the Judicial Board for review. Fraudulent use of the All Campus Card includes, but is not limited to: students allowing non-students or alumni to use their cards to gain entrance to games and special events, students using All Campus Cards other than their own, or obtaining tickets by block and individual ticketing.
Section 4. Policy Implementation and Modification:
The Student Government Campus Life Committee is responsible for developing any necessary and proper guidelines for the effective implementation of this policy. This policy is subject to change upon approval of the Student Senate.
