A RESOLUTION TO BE ENTITLED

An act to authorize the transfer of funds to a student government float in the 2004 homecoming parade.

WHEREAS, N.C. State Student Government gave the Homecoming Committee $25,000 last year to be spent on homecoming; and,

WHEREAS, Homecoming 2003 had 58 parade entries; and,

WHEREAS, Student Government is a big supporter of Homecoming; and,

WHEREAS, this years Homecoming Parade is expected to be the largest in recent history; and,

WHEREAS, having Student Government more visible around campus will only help us serve the students better; now, therefore be it

BE IT ENACTED, by the North Carolina State University Student Senate that up to $300 from the Student Body Budget, line item 1401, be given to the construction of a Homecoming Float for Student Government.
