 WHEREAS,   students of College of Agriculture and Life Sciences are working on raising $30,000 to fund a student initiated scholarship in honor Dr. Lynn Turner of the Food Science Department for his dedicated and service  students.

 

WHEREAS,   the Agri-Life Council has been working all summer to receive funds from outside businesses and coporations

 

WHEREAS,   those groups affiliated with CALS will be contributing as much as possible to achieve this goal prior to November 1st, 2008

 

RESOLVED,  that the North Carolina State University Student Senate authorizes and orders the student initiated scholarship in honor of Dr. Lynn Turner to be given, a sum amount not to exceed $1,500.00.
