A RESOLUTION TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT TO ALLOT

seating to All ROTC students for the Military Appreciation day football game

 

Short Title: ROTC Seating for Military Appreciation Day Act

Sponsored by: Senator Crabtree (Corresponding), Blanchard, Bower, Center

Referred to: Committee on Campus Community

 

1               WHEREAS,    September 12th, 2009, Military Appreciation Day, will be a time to honor

2                                       Veterans, ROTC students, senior officers, wounded warriors and other

3                                       military personnel; and,

4                

5               WHEREAS,      North Carolina State University will be recognizing these groups during

6                                       the NC State vs. Murray State football game for their service in the

7                                       military; now, therefore, be it,

8                

9               RESOLVED,  that the North Carolina State University Student Senate recommends the

10                                    Athletics Department to reserve 170 student seats for ROTC students at

11                                    the September 12th, 2009 NC State vs. Murray State Football game; and be

12                                    it further,

13             

14            RESOLVED,   that the North Carolina State University Student Senate encourages the

15                                    distribution of any extra tickets to student veterans in honor and support of

16                                    their service.

18            RESOLVED,  that this bill shall become effective upon enrollment.
