A RESOLUTION TO BE ENTILED AN ACT TO PROVIDE FUNDING FOR THE 2010 CAMPOUT

Short Title: 2010 Campout Funding

WHEREAS, Campout is a Student Government initiative and time honored tradition at North Carolina State University; and,

WHEREAS, the 2010 Campout is expected to have over 2,000 students in attendance, and Student Government has partnered with UAB and Campus Recreation to make this event a fun activity for students; and,

WHEREAS, Campus Community Committee expects this event cost to exceed the $2,000 dollars budgeted for Campout in FB 59 from the 88^th Session of North Carolina State University Student Senate; now therefore be it,

RESOLVED, that the North Carolina State University Student Senate will provide an extra $2,500 to the 2010 Campout for a total of $4500; and be it further,

RESOLVED, that $1500 will come from the Finance Committee Budget, $500 from the Legislative Operations line item, and $500 from the Executive Operations line item; and be it further,

RESOLVED, that the group in charge of allocating funds for Campout shall follow each line item and if one goes under budget the funds must be transferred to the Campout emergency funds. If the emergency funds go under budget then the money must be transferred back to the Finance Committee to allow for future disbursement.
