Chairman Erich M Fabricius submitted the following report regarding Senate Resolution 98, "A RULE CONCERNING THE CONSIDERATION OF RESOLUTION 50", on Tuesday, March 25th 2003, on behalf of the Committee on Rules, and pursuant to its Monday, March 24th 2003 recommendations, with 4 members voting in the affirmative and 0 in the negative:

Attendance:

There were four (4) Members (Fabricius, Gray, Pendergrass, Spencer) present.

There were two (2) Members (Palin, Tatum) absent.

A quorum was present.

The following officials were also present: Horne, Hutcherson

Purpose of Legislation:

Requires that all amendments to R 50, the Student Choice Act, be considered in Committee of the Whole, with 10 minutes provided for each amendment.

Recommendations:

SR 98 was introduced per standing rule.
