SENATE RESOLUTION 100

Mr. Gary Palin submitted the following report regarding Senate Resolution 100, "A Resolution To Be Entitled A Rule For the Consideration of Government Bill 87", on Tuesday, April 8th 2003, on behalf of the Committee on Rules, and pursuant to its Monday, April 7th 2003 recommendations, by general consent:

As provided by Senate Rule 14(b), the committee requests that the Senate President place Senate Resolution 100 on the calendar for second reading.

Attendance:

There were six (6) Members (Fabricius, Hutcherson, Palin, Pendergrass, Spencer, Tatum) present.

There was one (1) Member (Gray) absent.

A quorum was present.

Purpose of Legislation:

Calendars Government Bill 87 for second reading.

Background Information:

Government Bill 87, the Treasurer Qualifications Act, changes the Qualifications for a student wishing to run for the office of Student Body Treasurer.

Recommendations:

The Committee on Rules places GB 87 on the expedited calendar of the April 9, 2003 Student Senate meeting.
